Learn the latest Senior First Aid course- Provide First Aid HLTAID003 in a Fun & Friendly environment with Revive Emergency Medical Training. Our courses can be provided onsite at your workplace for group & corporate bookings. Our Perth CBD public courses are at the State Library of WA, which is next to Perth train station. Public courses are on Fridays or Saturdays from 0900 am to 3 pm approx. This course replaces the old version Apply First Aid HLTFA311A which has now been superseded.
This course is suitable for anyone who requires a Senior First Aid qualification or First Aid refresher for their job and educational requirements, or anyone who would just like to learn some First Aid Skills.
This course features as much practical work as possible during the class- all your skills assessments are by demonstration to the instructor, scenario's, short exam and an online pre course study theory work book.
This is a nationally accredited Senior First Aid qualification that is recognised throughout Australia and includes the CPR component Provide CPR HLTAID001. This course includes the new Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It is also approved for child care educators by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
Successful students who have passed all their assessments and pre course work book will be awarded their printed certificate (Statement of Attainment) on the day for our public courses. Students will also get a First Aid manual to take home and keep. Your certificate will list these units.
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID001 (Valid for 1 year)
Provide Basic Emergency Life Support HLTAID002 (Valid for 3 years)
Provide First Aid HLTAID003 (Valid for 3 years)
All enrolled students must complete the "First Aid" multiple choice online work book. Students need to print their pre course completion certificate and bring it to the class to give to the instructor at the start of class. Most students on average take approximately 1- 2 hours to do this.
All students in Australia studying any nationally accredited course must now have a Government issued Unique Student Identifier (USI) to give to their training provider. It is like a Tax File Number for training. The USI is issued to you via a Goverment website in about 5 minutes and is free. If you do not have a USI; we will send you instructions after you book your course on how to get one.
You may change your course date to another date provided you have informed us 48 hours in advance of your original course booking date. Any alternate date is subject to availability and must be taken within 2 months of your original booking date. Once you booked your public course date we will not issue any refunds if you do not attend or have not completed your pre course work book. (please see our full Terms & Conditions).
